CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — LIFT, a healthcare research, design, and marketing communications firm serving the consumer healthcare and life science spaces, announced today that GSW Worldwide co-founder and former president of creative services Chris Snell has joined the company as executive advisor of-counsel.
In this role, Snell will work closely with LIFT’s leadership team to drive business development and growth initiatives as the company seeks to bolster its go-to-market strategies in the life science space—particularly in the arenas of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. He will also hold a co-chair seat on the company’s executive advisory board, effective immediately.
“Chris has been a champion of LIFT’s value proposition and a guiding light for the firm since we launched,” said David McDonald, LIFT’s founder and CEO. “Not only does he bring tremendous historical perspective, he also understands the value of design thinking and anthropology in today’s healthcare communications landscape—which are the cornerstones of our business model. I, along with my partners, am personally honored to have Chris join us—he will bring significant value and inevitable velocity to our next stage of growth.”
Snell, along with his partners, founded Columbus, Ohio-based Gerbig, Snell/Weisheimer & Associates—now formally known as GSW Worldwide, a Syneos Health company—in 1977. Over his nearly 30 years of creative and strategic leadership, Snell helped lead the firm to become one of the world’s largest and most powerful healthcare marketing and communications agencies.
“The healthcare industry has never needed more wisdom and human-centricity behind its marketing decisions than it does today, and the team at LIFT has tapped into these unmet needs by bringing to market an offering that is both unique and tremendously important,” Snell said. “I am energized to join the LIFT team and look forward to helping them grow to make a meaningful impact not only in the healthcare and life science communities the firm supports, but in the lives of the consumers and patients at the center of the equation.”
